About Ara Productions
Christopher Slaughter
Christopher Slaughter is Founder and CEO of Ara Productions, a Hong Kong-based content creation company. He has more than 35 years of experience in Asian media and communications, most recently as Head of Content and Channels for insurance leader AIA. Prior to that he ran APSCC, the Asian satellite industry association, and before that, he was CEO of CASBAA, the trade association for the Asian pay TV industry. He previously led video production company APV, producing documentary films, news and current affairs programming, and corporate videos. He spent more than a decade as a broadcast journalist, culminating with his role as Hong Kong and Shanghai Bureau Chief for CNBC Asia.
